Texas Gay Straight Alliance Network is a statewide program that unites school-based Gay Straight Allaince (GSA) student clubs to one another through peer support, leadership development and training. The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. Youth First Texas You First Texas is the only non-profit organization in Dallas exclusively committed to providing social services, education opportunities, recreational activities and leadership development to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning (LGBTQ) Youth through age 22. Resource Center Dallas The Resource Center of Dallas operates the John Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center, named after the founding executive director, and the Nelson-Tebedo Health Resource Center. Through its health and medical services, the Center is a leader in HIV/AIDS education, prevention and services, and provides a full spectrum of STD prevention education, screenings and treatments. Dallas Purple Party Established in 2001, Purple Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to raise funds to improve the lives of people in the Dallas area who are living with or are affected by HIV/AIDS. With donated proceeds of more than $350,000, Purple Foundation has become an invaluable source of revenue for local charity organizations whose work reflects our mission. Galerstein Women’s Center (GWC) The mission of the Galerstein Women’s Center (GWC) is to collaboratively support and represent gender issues on campus, in the community, in the public and in society, by transforming personal, economic, social, and cultural ideas into synergistic programs and events, and advocating for an inclusive, safe environment that directly impacts, benefits and improves lives. DFW BI NET DFW BI NET is a social and support group for bisexual, bi-curious and bi-friendly people in North Texas. All DFW BI NET functions exist to create a safe place for bisexual people to meet and freely express themselves. Pride at UTD Twitter This is the Pride at UTD's Twitter account which will send out tweets to update on information about Pride, new events, and upcoming events. Pride at UTD Photographs This is Pride at UTD's Photobucket account which will just be a compilation of most of the photographs taken at events that Pride ends up going to. It is password protected, so you must refer to the private Facebook group to retrieve the guest password. This is the public page for Pride at UTD on Facebook. It is for anything that is going to be posted as public for everyone to view. It is mostly used as a connection to the private Facebook group.
